The AirLocker Smart Locker System was designed in partnership with Cisco Systems, the leading IT firm in the world. The mission was to deliver a world-class cloud-based solution that could be deployed quickly and perform reliably anywhere on the globe.
Software Built for the Cloud
AirLocker’s software application can run in the Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS cloud or it can be connected to a VPN via an available LAN, ISP or cellular WAN gateway. A local backup is maintained by the locker controller so reliable operation continues even if connectivity is lost.
Advanced Smart Locker Network Technology
AirLocker uses a network technology, eliminating dozens of meters of cable and hundreds of connections. This architecture eliminates electronic assembly from being done in a locker manufacturing factory and has proven to deliver a more reliable system that is easier to install and operate.
Reconfigurable and Expandable
AirLocker’s smart lockers can be reconfigured with larger or smaller doors to maximize utilization. Additional locker cabinets can be added by simply moving them into place and connecting to the locker network cable.
Plug & Play
AirLocker components are Plug & Play and can be serviced without tools. Any configuration that might be needed can be done from the cloud, minimizing down time and field service expense.
AirLocker Platform
AirLocker utilizes only solid-state components from leading technology providers including ELO, Intel and DataLogic. AirLocker solutions can also operate stand-alone and can easily be integrated with in-house or cloud-hosted corporate IT systems and databases.
Advanced Sensor Technology
AirLocker smart sensors can detect items as light as a feather. They scan each locker for the presence of an item in the locker in real time, a feature that customers have found to be of significant value for operator accountability and managing locker availability. AirLocker sensors can also monitor door position status and temperature by locker.
Modern Design and Custom Graphics
AirLocker Systems are designed to be deployed in modern workplaces, apartments and retailer environments. They are elegant when compared to the competition and are available with custom colors and 4-Color graphic overlays.
Agile Deployment
AirLocker Systems are delivered on custom “removable” pallets that eliminate the need to manually lift the lockers. In addition, the AirLocker Systems include rolling casters that can be used to move lockers into tight locations and lock them down. An AirLocker System can normally be deployed in 60 to 90 minutes, while competitive systems may take many hours.
